We are seeking a few committed volunteers for random tasks throughout the
year. The people who would best fit the description should have a flexible
schedule, a friendly personality, and no experience is necessary. Tasks have
ranged from the following:
-envelope stuffing (we could really use you for the 12,000+ mailings every spring)
-translation headset signup/distribution during our community meetings
-helping the elderly in our area rake leaves, shovel snow season to season
(payment for snow shoveling is negotiable between assistant and resident)
-office assistance/data entry
-help at clean-ups
-share resources regarding housing resources/grants with neighbors
-sometimes we do neighborhood surveys and like to have teams of people
The list goes on and on. The benefit to volunteering is that you have a great
reference with us, and also you get out into the community!!!
